Disclosure obligations pursuant to the Transparency Regulation

When we select insurance companies and insurance products, we consider the information provided by the respective insurers.

Insurers who do not have a recognisable strategy regarding the inclusion of sustainability risks in their investment decisions will, where appropriate, be excluded from our offer. Within the framework of our customised advisory services based on the client’s individual interests, we highlight any recognisable benefits and drawbacks arising for the respective client due to the inclusion of sustainability risks in the investment decision.

Information about the inclusion of sustainability risks in the respective insurer’s investment decisions is included in the pre-contractual information provided by the insurer.

If clients have questions, they are welcome to contact us before concluding a contract.

Within the framework of our advisory services, we take the most important negative effects of investment decisions on sustainability factors of the players on the financial markets (insurers) into consideration based on the information provided by the insurers. In our capacity as brokers, we are not responsible for the accuracy of such information.

At present, such consideration is possible only to a limited extent because the information provided by the insurers about their companies is accumulating, but in some cases still rather rudimentary.

The fee for the brokerage of insurances is not based on the sustainability risks ensuing from their investments. This means in particular that the amount of the fee for a specific product is not affected in any way, positive or negative, by the sustainability risks of the investment.

When consulting on insurance investment products, Riester and basic pensions and/or company pension schemes, we take the sustainability risks into consideration based on the pre-contractual information provided by the insurers.

In the case of a possible obligatory evaluation of an equivalent or better return of a product that takes sustainability risks into account, we will preferably recommend this product.
